The talk is led by Kiki Chèrie, an internationally acclaimed, multi-award-winning burlesque artist with over 12 years of experience performing on stages around the world. As the founder and principal of the Oslo School of Burlesque, she has dedicated her career to elevating the art form and providing others with the opportunity to express themselves creatively in a safe, body-positive environment.
With a unique blend of professional performance and academic expertise, Kiki combines her extensive experience as an artist with deep knowledge in psychology and movement. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology and additional education in Dance and Movement as a Health-Promoting Practice. Her passion lies in exploring how creative expression can promote well-being, identity, and self-acceptance.

Kiki Chérie is an international, multi-award winning burlesque performer, producer and instructor based in Oslo, Norway.
She found her love for dance at a young age and has since grown her repertoire of various dance forms, as well as been trained by community professionals such as Perle Noire, Dirty Martini, Coco Lectric and Ginger Valentine.
Since her debut, becoming first runner up at the Midnight Burlesque Newcomer Competition in 2013, she has been nicknamed Norway's Burlesque Queen by news sites and patrons alike, as well as earning herself the official international titles of Deitie of Classic Burlesque 2025, Queen of Heart 2024, Papessa of Burlesque 2016 and Miss Pinup Manillusion 2015.
Viewed as a matriarch in the Norwegian Burlesque community, Kiki is the principal and creator of Norways biggest institute for Burlesque; The Oslo School of Burlesque, and producer of Oslo's most extravagant award-winning Burlesque and Variety revue; Kiki's Burly Q.
As a headlining performer she has performed and taught Burlesque all over the world, as well as had a 6 month residency at Speakeasy Sennepen Scene in Oslo, where she worked weekly alongside live jazz music. Her credentials include working with some of the biggest brands and entertainment productions, like Jean-Paul Gaultier, HBO, Bacardi St. Germain, SF Film, NRK, Eventshow and many more.
