Out of Place is a striking site-specific performance that explores alienation, otherness, and monstrosity from a queer BIPOC perspective.

Blending drag aesthetics with inspirations from queer subcultures, the performance offers a deeply physical investigation of what it means to be an outsider — to feel excluded and out of place. At the same time, the performers embrace the power of difference by claiming space, building community, and taking ownership of their bodies.

The performance unfolds in public spaces, reflecting the experience of living outside society’s norms and structures. Through intentional use of urban environments, the audience is invited to view the cityscape with fresh eyes. The piece highlights the fragile balance between visibility and invisibility, acceptance and rejection.

Out of Place merges drag, queer subcultures, and contemporary dance into a site-specific performance staged in public space. Welcome to a unique and experimental drag experience!
